January 21st markets

Happy Friday Everyone!

Come and brave the cold and wet tomorrow and warm up with fresh produce and delicious recipes at our pocket markets.

Tomorrow we will be at Brant Villa (2290 E. 25th Ave) from 10am-noon and then at Culloden Court (1375 E. 47th Ave) from 2pm-4pm.

Red Onions

Spring Mix (clamshells)

From Elsewhere:
Beets
Hosui Pears
Navel Oranges
Broccoli
Carrots
Grape Tomatoes
Kiwi

Happy New Year- January Markets

Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope your holidays were filled with fun, family and food! Are you hoping to eat healthier in the New Year?
 Markets will resume as always, at Helping Spirit Lodge & Orchard Park on the 2nd Saturday of each month and at Brant Villa and Culloden Court on the 3rd Saturday of each month.

Come check out our January Markets. This Saturday we will be at our usual spots.

Helping Spirit Lodge-
3965 Dumfries Street near Kingsway Ave (right across from the Rona on the West side)
We will be there from 10-12

Orchard Park-
5988 Nanaimo St near E. 45th Ave
We will be there from 2-4 (plus there is a tasting kitchen with some delicious recipes being made!)

** In other news**
If you are interested in food security, and community health and development please come to our Community Engagement Meeting on February 1st from 6:30-8 held at the Kensington library.(Parking is available). Space is limited so please email me if you plan on attending at tlccfoodsecurity@gmail.com. It will be a great opportunity to get to know your neighbours, network with others and to provide some input into what's going on in your community.
